Back to the Future with the Black Pearl Steam Powered Motorcycle
Black Pearl Steam Powered Motorcycle – ( TeK-THinK)
For over a century steam engines drove the world’s leading civilizations with everything from trains to equipment and generators using wood or coal as the source of fuel and live steam as the energy carrier. With the discovery of liquid fossil fuels steam engines gave way to the combustion engine.
Trains where probably the last of the steam engines to disappear and if you look hard enough you may find one still in use somewhere in the world. I do not however believe that anyone tried to use steam to power a motorcycle, at least until now.
Named the Black Pearl ( maybe after the pirate ship in the Johnny Depp movies?), this high tech, low tech bike claims a top speed of 8 miles per hour. I guess you have stop fairly regularly and make more steam or load the coal container.
I do not think this will catch on.
